Family Sharing with AcroVault - Securely Share Passwords & Documents with Your Household

The Problem

Families struggle to securely share passwords, documents, and financial records. Using shared spreadsheets or text messages is insecure. Everyone needs access but with controlled permissions.

The Solution

AcroVault's Family Sharing lets you invite family members, set per-module permissions (None/View/Edit), and share only the items you choose. Everything is AES-256 encrypted.

Family Sharing in AcroVault lets households securely share passwords, documents, and financial records with controlled permissions.

How to Set Up Family Sharing

  1. Upgrade to Family Plan: Family plan is $49/year with up to 2 members included.
  2. Invite Members: From Family Controls, enter the email of a family member. They receive an invitation code.
  3. Member Accepts: The member enters the invitation code in their Settings page.
  4. Set Permissions: For each module, set None, View, or Edit.
  5. Share Items: On individual items, toggle Family Sharing ON.

Permissions Explained

  • None: Member cannot see any items in this module
  • View: Member sees shared items but cannot edit
  • Edit: Member can view and edit shared items

What to Share

  • Shared streaming passwords (Netflix, Spotify)
  • Household bills and subscriptions
  • Insurance policies covering the family
  • Property documents
  • Emergency contacts
โš ๏ธ Important: Family members can also share their own items. Sharing is bidirectional.
